House progress

This is one of my favorite genres of photographs - the "before/after" shot, which shows the same scene at two different times. Here are the kitchen and upstairs bath, the first taken February 18th and the second June 10th. These are "in progress shots" - much more to do. At some point I can add a third, completed shot.

The cabinets were made to Paul's design and measurements by a company that turns that design into a computer program that then cuts out the pieces that are accurate to the millimeter with drill holes and everything, then ships the pieces and Paul assembled them. He said they were done perfectly. The counter tops are concrete, made by Paul. He had a devil of a time getting them all level, but finally succeeded. It's going to be a nice kitchen. Jenny is happy.

I hope to get more photos with the process farther along before we leave.
