We 're in Boulder

We arrived in Boulder at a little after 5 pm - pretty much as estimated. Except for that brief blizzard in western Nebraska, it was an easy drive and seemed short by comparison with Tuesday and even. Wednesday. Boulder is fully in bloom. It was amazing. 

We found Betsey and her friend Julia Norgaard at home and it was wonderful to see Betsey looking so good. She feels she is on an upswing, especially after her most recent round of chemo which went from April 1 to 5. Julia  is a friend from Colombia, MO who has been here since last Saturday. We are in a sense relieving her. She had made a tasty lentil dish which we enjoyed together.
