A fix, we hope

We got s new phone today. We got a new iPhoneSE for just $150 at the AT&T store in Schaumburg, IL. We got it as a pre-pay phone; no contract. They tried at the store to transfer data from the old phone to the new but it didn't work. We'll have to work that out when we get home. In the meantime, we have a back-up phone we can use in case the old one gives up. The old one is still working at the moment. We can keep it in the box the new one came in and use it as little as possible. We'll give our new, temporary phone # to family and friends. Eventually, we'll be able to substitute it for the one that shattered and keep the old phone number (we hope!). The new phone has twice the storage capacity of the old one. Today was Rabbi Ahuvah's last day leading Torah Study. I was able to join in from here in Bartlett. I will miss her comments very much. The new interim rabbi, Rabbi Lee, has expressed an interest in picking up on Torah study. So we'll see how that goes.
