Guilford Church today

Today, I had no responsibilities at church except to sing in the choir. We had a guest preacher, Rev. Karen Lipincynk, a friend of Pastor Elisa, who is officially retired as of April 2022, but like many of us retired clergy, still doing pulpit supply. She brought an unusual energy and passion to the service and to her preaching, which was quite refreshing. After church we went out for breakfast at the Chelsea Diner with the Davis family. We hadn't had breakfast at the Chelsea Diner since the pandemic started. That was a treat! Then we sat outside under the apple trees for a while and talked. We'll see Andy this evening at a concert in Saxton's River.
