Job completed !

Monday, Max was in camp, Ellen didn't need the car, so I went to Jackson by myself to the Teton Library and, by golly, I scanned every last page of my dissertation - I guess about 200 in all. So now I have on my computer both an uneditable picture in pdf of each page and an editable OCR file for each page .

What I see on the screen: a scan on the left and the OCR file on the right. I click on "Save," forward the OCR file to Microsoft Word, and save to my flashdrive.

Tuesday, we went to the Laurance Rockefeller preserve, enjoyed the visitor center and a little hike. Today (Wednesday)  we're doing a backcountry adventure in Paul's pickup. More on that later.
