This is Schubert's final chamber work, and considered his finest. It is suffused with pathos. It was composed two months before his death, in 1828. The performers today are Geneva Lewis, violin; Joseph Lin, viola; Haesue Lee, viola; Minji Kim, cello; Taeguk Mun, cello.
