Ellen and I took in the final concert of the season for the Colorado Music Festival: a Mozart/Handel concert:
Ave Verum Corpus, Regina Coeli, and
Exultate, Jubilate, by Mozart and
Zadok the Priest coronation anthem, Royal Fireworks Music and
Ode to St. Cecelia by Handel. A fine concert. The guest soloist was Mary Wilson, who was brought in on short notice; she had a lovely voice. Another lovely evening. We took a shuttle bus to Chautauqua but walked back to our car. Nice evening for a walk. Tomorrow the cleaners are coming. We'll be clearing out in the a.m.
Earlier in the day we went to the Pearl Street Mall - Boulder's premier downtown shopping area. Lots of buskers including this very unusual one:
Yes, he's hanging upside down and playing the guitar and singing.
