New Year's Day with Max and Mais

We are in Northampton at the Feinlands. We have met Max's friend, Maison, (Mason) who is called "Mais" for short. We just went out for a late lunch - at a burger place downtown, and then a sweet at the Maymarket Cafe (Herrell's was closed). I feel too stuffed and we are meeting John and Cynthia for supper in less than two hours! Now we are back at the house filling in a bit of time before we go. back to Brattleboro.
