The Sun Also Rises

Ellen worked a couple of hours at the GCC booksale last Saturday and brought home some books: among them, Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises. It's been sitting on the coffee table and I picked it up while I was eating lunch and got hooked. I realized I had never read it before. It's pretty grim, but Hemingway's prose is compelling. Tomorrow we go down to Shutesbury to be with Brendon a couple of days while Katie & Savanna go on a little trip. I'll take Hemingway with me. The days are beautiful at this time of year!
