A quick catch-up

DAY TWENTY-FOUR: We are in Paolo, KS, heading for Sidney, NE tonight, then Alpine, Wy Tuesday night. Yesterday we spent several hours at the Truman Presidential Library in Independence, MO. Very interesting for both of us, because the Truman years were important in both of our childhoods. To be reminded of that history, and the multitude of crises and world-changing events that occurred during that time was fascinating and sobering. Saturday night we attended the second performance of The Crucible which was even better than the first. We had supper with Rob, Betsey and their friends, Thor and Julia Norgaard. A pleasant evening. I have a lot of catching up to do with narrative and photos from the trip that I have not been able to post yet. I'll have time in Alpine, I hope.
